I am a fine art portrait photographer and retoucher in the DMV (Washington, Maryland, and Virginia) and have been in love with the medium since the late 70's.

Photography, to me, is more than capturing moments—it's a tool for storytelling, a way to explore the depth of human experience. Each photograph I create is an interpretation of someone’s essence, translated into a visual language that invites viewers to engage, reflect, and expand on the story it tells.

True storytelling through photography goes beyond technical skill; it is rooted in human connection. When I document the lives of others, in sometimes their most vulnerable moments, I aim to capture not just what is seen, but what is felt—their emotions, their experiences, the unspoken narratives that breathe life into an image.

A single photograph has the power to do more than preserve a fleeting scene. It can stir emotions, spark memories, and transport a viewer into another world. In an age overflowing with snapshots and fleeting visuals, my goal is to create images that linger, that compel people to pause and immerse themselves in the moment. To tell stories that remind us of our shared humanity.
